NARS Orgasm Blush Review

Finally caved in and bought a cult favourite. Prior to my purchase, I already own other Nars blushes in Deep Throat and Sin so my expectations were already quite high. Starting with the packaging, it’s really not too impressive. My other blushes are less than a year old and they’re already getting dirty, stained with who knows what, I never remember being messy with my makeup anyway. I don’t really use the mirror in the compact, it’s too small and I always do my make up in front of a larger bathroom mirror. The shade itself is peach with golden shimmer particles, tiny ones in fact so when you apply it, it’s not a huge standout on your face. I find it less pigmented than the other blushes, and it’s a subtle peachy colour that’s suitable for most skintones, I am a NW25. Personally, I just adore the shade, I prefer more peach tones to true pink shades and it goes perfectly with my Nars bronzer.

Nars Sheer Glow Review

I’ve been wanting to purchase this foundation for a while now and finally bit the bullet when I found out how much it costs in Thailand. It’s about $80 from Mecca Cosmetics in Melbourne, and I think I bought mine for under $50. On a day to day basis, I don’t use foundation on my entire face and on some days I’ll only use concealer. So starting with the packaging, signature Nars black and glass bottle and I am sure the lid will end up getting very dirty. While it looks beautiful, I don’t think it’s practical, I dislike glass bottles because they’re very heavy and quite fragile. Contrary to the name, there isn’t anything sheer about this foundation, it’s more of a medium coverage with a glow. I use my fingers to apply this product and it feels very soft and satiny between my fingers, blending is very easy and I feel as though it sinks into my skin. The shade I use is Santa Fe, which is a Medium 2, I have a tan currently so I’ll probably won’t be able to use this when winter comes around. I can definitely tell the difference between this foundation and Covergirl’s Clean Make Up, price normally reflects on quality but I still can’t justify spending $80 here.

My daily makeup products as of late, you can see some items that I recently bought on my last holiday as well. The current look I’m loving is really natural but focusing on eyes and tanned, glowing skin. I purchased these really amazing false lashes in Thailand, they are unbranded and inexpensive (wish I bought more!) and works just as well as the Taiwanese Princess lashes that’s triple the price.

List of products:
Nars Orgasm blush
KATE eyebrow pencil
Etude House eyeliner
e.l.f duo eyeshadow
MAC Moisture Cover concealer
Nars Sheer Glow foundation
Nars Laguna bronzer
